Our Ethos
At Green Learning Community, we believe that education needs to be flexible and owned by students and their families. Love and care for the natural world is at the centre of everything we do. Our programs are co-designed with students to support them to develop critical thinking skills, creativity, entrepreneurship, and active citizenship. We offer flexibility around ages with our primary focus on students aged 9 to 12.
Co-operative Education
Green Learning Community is children, families and local citizens working together to deepen our knowledge, skills and well-being while honouring nature and each other. We use a co-operative model to ensure equality in involvement, collaboration and governance. We work together to develop and deliver sessions, sharing our gifts and talents as part of the journey.
